Very good sound, but not great.

  • Summary: I bought these because i wanted an in wall speaker, that would not stand out in the room. This they accomplish well. They fit perfectly between standard 16 studs, mounting very securely. The sound is very good for their size, but not great. They are fine for surround speakers but you could not use them alone for your primary audio. They must be combined with full range fronts or larger fronts plus a subwoofer.
  • Pros: Discrete in wall application. Very good sound.
  • Cons: All plastic construction but seems robust so far.

  • Summary: I put 4 of these into the walls of our great room. It is a lot of space to fill with sound and the Klipsch speakers do a great job. Typically you don't get much bass response from in-wall speakers, but these produce what I would call very, very good bass and sound fantastic with Jazz, Classical and Rock and Roll music. I don't listen to heavy metal or Hip Hop Rap, so I cannot say on these. The build quality is excellent, and installation is a breeze in hollow walls.
  • Pros: Sound, bass response, clarity, fills a big room with sound, reasonable good value.
  • Cons: none
