  • Summary: Having lived happily for 4 years with a pair of Triangle Comete 25th Ann. monitors, I am being very careful not to let go of them before being really sure, and have not had the P17Bs long enough to sell the Triangles. That said, am pretty certain these new ones will be my speakers. They, like the Triangles, are very alive sounding and play well at low volumes, but the P17Bs are far more dynamic and will play loudly gladly.

  • Summary: These are very good sounding. Mostly I am a horn afficionado, but these are not only dynamic, but the bass is very good with weight and good low level detail, yet these are very transparent. I have a Musical Fidelity Nuvista M3, along with an A5 cd player. The presence from certain recordings is stunning. Some I have heard are very curious about there being enough bass. I would say not to worry, These have adequate++++ bass with good weight.
