Summary: I worked in a "record store" in the late 80's. We sold the Klipsch lineup. I was just a teenager, and would marvel at the K-Horns in the brochures. We never ordered any unfortunately. A guy came in and said he needed money, wanted to sell his 1976 K-Horns.
Summary: Many years ago when i was a student in washington i saw this speaker demoed a t Myer-Emco,the sales person hooked these up to get this a 1 watt transistor radio, and Springsteens Born to Run came to life, amazing. From that point on i made it my goal to get a pair and finally 10 years later I did.The...

Summary: Until you switch on the ampli and all your body, not only your ears, will feel the music flow, you cannot imagine the clarity and "power" of the sound. Everything else becomes of a smaller dimension. It' s worth not only the price but the space also that you must find in your house.
Summary: I purchased my pair used in 1983 for $1800.00. These are one of few speakers where the music doesn't sound as if it is coming out of a box. I am using a 35 year old class A amp to drive them. So these new a/v recievers don't distort the sound.
Summary: I started with Heresy's after passing on ESS AMT-1's and JBL 100's. When CD's were introduced in the early 80's I upgraded to Klipsch Cornwalls. I've always wanted a pair of K-Horns. They were the best speaker I've ever heard. I got my dream come true last month.
Summary: Truthfully, for what these speakers can do in the right environment, the price is actually great. Purchased mine through Acoustic Sound Design (www.acousticsounddesign.com). Great transaction. The dynamic range on these speakers is phenomenal.
Summary: I'm glad that this site is still in existence. What a service to everyone. There used to be well over 100 reviews offered here about the Klipschorn! I wonder what happened. I was first introduced to the amazing Klipschorn in 1972 and have had so many pairs of them and then selling them for one...
Summary: Having kicked around with the audio hobby since the 1950's and known about "the mighty Klipschorn" by reputation since then, finally at the age of 61 I purchased a new pair of them in 2003 (list $7500, I got them for $6500) plus a new Belle Klipsch in '04 to use as a center channel.
