After about 24 hours of play time they start to sound wonderful. They're a great speaker

Summary: They have survived two New England Winters outside. Be aware that they take some time to break in (in order to get optimum sound). I'm guessing this is due to the different materials used to make this an outside speaker (the cone/woofer in particular). After about 24 hours of play time they start to sound wonderful. They're a great speaker! I have them over my deck and they toss the sound!
Summary: I tried many outdoor speakers. I ended up with a pair for $99 that are way better. These had a weird hum/sensitivity and the one cabinet had a mounting issue and I could hear some movement from the woofer when it was pushed. For some reason you cannot get proper valued hi-fi for outdoor use in the $150-$400 range.
Good sound, but the new ones are already showing ...

Summary: I have two pairs now under the eaves of a beach house, 100 yds from the Gulf of Mexico. Good sound, but the new ones are already showing signs of rust on the grilles, and it's not even a month. The first pair are still sounding good but look terrible after about 18 months. Not recommended for salty-air environments.
Summary: Very good outdoor speakers, but not full sound. I don't know that any smallish outdoor speaker will truly satisfy me but these are about as good as any. And for the size and price, they are fine.
Summary: A little expensive, but so far very worth the price.. The whole family loves them, I bought them because of the good rating and since they work great and I have had no problems I am very happy with them.
Summary: These replaced AR outdoor speakers on our pool house. These Klipsch were on sale and do have pretty good bass for such small units as I have them mounted beneath the pool house gutters, not near the ground. I am very happy with the Klipsch, could crank them up if my receiver could muster the power but the receiver is not rated well for distortion. I have in my house Klipsch towers for modular stereo bought 20 years ago, still going strong. Love Klipsch.
Summary: I got these as B speakers for my bath. I play high quality alac files in itunes in my computer through a Cambridge DAC into my Onkyo home system transmitting to these Klipsch speakers mounted high in the corners of the room. Sound is so spatial and real with bass you definitely feel! A good price for the quality in my book!
