Fantastic Speaker for Classical, Pop, and Jazz

Michael, Crutchfield
14 March 2014
  • Summary: Just purchased these from Crutchfield in earlier this month, had to special order as they had run out. Cruchfield was very helpful and made the process easy, I hadn't had the chance to connect them till yesterday.. On the box they say that they are made and assembled in USA.
  • Pros: *Reproduction of sound is first rate, sound fills room in way makes each recording that much more memorable *Solid Construction, Screen is solidly made
  • Cons: *Heavy 45 to 50 pounds *Best off using banana clip connections, binding post dials at back not easiest to use, design while solid could be easier to use

These exceed expectations!

Raisin Caine, Crutchfield
28 February 2014
  • Summary: Possessing a challenging soundstage (relatv.small space and narrow), I wanted closed cabinet loudspeakers versus ported towers. A few products presented themselves and often carried typically very high price tags. The Heresy III came into focus. After aprox.
  • Pros: Agile and sensitive, enclosures allow for more placement options in room, well-balanced, capable of clean loudness, American-made, great service from Crutchfield
  • Cons: Wasn't able to audition them prior to purchase

Heresy 3 Speaker system.

DLL, Crutchfield
17 December 2013
  • Summary: Don't ever spend a lot of money for a pair of loudspeakers today unless you are absolutely sure they are worth every penny. There are many great speakers for much less money. Klipsch Heresy are Classic Speakers made as they have always been made. They are a time honored tradition as a speaker.
  • Pros: Clearly one of the best speakers ever made. A Classic! A superb piece of work. Once you hear these babies in action you have that sound of them imprinted on your mind. Actually considering the detailed sound of these speakers they are a bargain. In the average living room they sound as good as th...
  • Cons: Expensive. But they do not make speakers like this one anymore. The sad day will one day come when the Klipsch heritage line is a thing of the past.

Klipsch Heresy

HubieM, Crutchfield
17 December 2013
  • Summary: I purchased these speakers back in 1985. I wanted a set of front speakers to go w/my Klipsch La Scala's. Which I purchased in 1975. Both pair are still working great. I've added a THX Home Audio Receiver, Midrange Horn Speaker and the Sub-Woofer...Crutchfield is great when I call them w/issues.
  • Pros: These are directional speakers. Which is how the sound hits you at concerts....from the stage right in front of you. These speakers reproduce that concert effect w/clarity to every note and vocals. You will be surprised to hear sounds from these speakers in music that you thought you knew every n...
  • Cons: Neighbors. Hard to resist not cranking them up!
