Whyskas, Crutchfield

  • Summary: I have had these speakers since July of 2013. I have 3 setup for my fronts on my Home theater setup, 2 more to come when I get the money again. These things are awesome! I have had a set of Klipsch Promedia 4.1, 4.2 and 5.1 setups for my computer system and have found no others that can even touch them. This led me to by these Heresy III's.
  • Pros: Clean clear sound
  • Cons: None.

Jeff W. a Audio Enthusiast, Audio Review

  • Summary: Many audiophiles bewail the so-called horn sound of horn loaded speakers. I cant speak for other horn loaded speakers (not that there are that many others) but these simply do not have the so called horn sound. They are very efficient and may have you reaching for the volume knob sooner than other speakers but the quality of sound will match any of the other highly touted brands like B+W or Magnepan. This is particularly true when one factors in the size of this speaker.

Now THIS is music!

Marty Gillis, Amazon

  • Summary: I have spent the last 9 years going through a multitude of speakers, searching for the "perfect speaker" for myself. I had been trying to capture "The Sound" that was stuck deep within my memory of our old Magnavox console with it's tube amp, and dual 12's and Horns. Over the years as I was able to try some pretty decent speaker/amp combos I just never hit upon THE speaker that brought me right back to 1965. Well, my search is over!

VERRY HAPPY

KYLE, Crutchfield
1 October 2013
  • Summary: I read reviews that stated they were lacking in bass response. I have no issues with the sound in any range. Granted I'm running a 12 inch Klipsch sub that pairs well with the speakers. I turned the sub off and still loved the range of the speakers. From Sarah Brightman to Slayer, these are great!
  • Pros: Great sound, classic looks.
  • Cons: none

An audiophiles choice

dilworthdude, Amazon
9 September 2013
  • Summary: I carefully studied speaker choices by doing a 2 day blind listening study. I sat in a darkened room as I listened to various types of music from different sources (CD-LP). The sales assistant switched between speakers on cue from my hand signals. After spending several hours over a two day period I narrowed it down to two different speakers. When I asked which they were I found them both to be Klipsch speakers.

Klipsch Heresy III: An improved version of the famous Klipsch Heresy

Horswispr, epinions.com
21 August 2013
  • Summary: Klipsch Heresy IIIs are efficient, dynamic sounding home speakers. They might be ideal for use with low powered tube amplifiers.
  • Pros: very effficient; updated connectors; dynamic, "in the room" sound; didn't sound bright like JBL L-100s
  • Cons: haven't listened over the long haul so I can't assess possible "listener fatigue"

The right speaker for my decware zen amp.

alainjoelgaleba, Ebay
2 April 2013
  • Summary: Needed a high efficiency speaker for a new decware zen 6 watt per side tube amp. I wanted the best I could get and got that for a price reduction that was greatly appreciated by me. These speakers are fine furniture grade pieces for my room. They are like timeless works of vintage art. The sound is crisp and expansive. I am thrilled to listen to my large collection of all types of music as if the band were in my room with me, no kidding simpley amazing.

There's nothing else like Klipsch

John T. Price, Amazon
12 February 2013
  • Summary: I own a pair of these Heresy's (I bought used, not from Amazon) and I can say they are the best speakers I've ever owned. I've had Advents, JBLs, Electro Voice, Altec, and several other lesser brands. There is just something about Klipsch that keeps me coming back to them. First, the sound. The horn loaded tweeter and midrange are both exceptional. Unless you've heard something similar, it is hard to envision just the amount of difference they make.
