Summary: I have rarely been disappointed with the intems I buy on line but also true is that my expectations are rarely exceeded. This is one of those rare cases that not only did this speaker set exceed my expectations they were blown out of the water.
Summary: These speakers are driven by an Onkyo 250 watt 5.1 receiver. I bought them because of Klipsch's reputation for excellent equipment, and I am not disappointed. They are small in size, but they fill our large living room with clear sound.
Summary: Klipsch is the best. I've loved them since I had my first set of floor standing speakers as a teenager when I had nothing better to do with my money. Now that we're cost conscious adults living in apartments we need the best value and quality together.
Summary: These speakers seriously rock! I got them to replace the speakers that came with my Samsung 1000W Home Theater in a Box. Even though the Samsung subwoofer was passive, I could plug the wires right into the back of the powered Klipsch subwoofer with no problem.
Summary: Overall: 48/50 The system performs extremely well in a small room. 12' X 15' (my theatre/study/bedroom). First off the sound is amazing, clear, crisp, great mids +highs, outstanding bass. It must be powered by a receiver. I use a Sony STR-DH810, which powers them adequately.
