Pros: Sounds that come out of this little speaker are fabulous especially if you like to hear your bass notes come through.
Cons: Bluetooth does not automatically connect. You have to go to settings manually each time your wireless bluetooth device turns off to re-establish connection. Instruction manual is useless. Most useful information on the product came from the wrap around the product that described how to turn on an...
Summary: To get the unit into pairing mode is not intuitive, you must turn the unit on with one pull up of a switch, then pull up and hold the same switch again for 5 seconds to get into pairing mode. It is in the instructions, but there is no indication on the unit.
Pros: Small, well built and professional looking. Packaging was very well done. Good volume Reasonable Bass response
Cons: Not getting any stereo separation, but that is not promised except in customer questions & answers. Operation is easy, but not intuitive. (see Other Thoughts) I find the highs a little muted from what i expected, but I am a Klipsch fan so this might just be my expectation problem
Summary: It performs as advertised, but in my opinion is WAY overpriced. I love my Klipsch PC speakers, and they were only $150. I paid $200 for the GiG, and I could have gone to Walmart and got something better for $50. Live and learn.
Summary: I bought the GIG as a gift in December 2013. It is a nice solid unit and has a good sound. As of August 2014 it has stopped working entirely. No lights, no sound even when connected to wall charger. I wrote to Klipsch support and if I get a positive response from them I will update this review.
Summary: The Klipsch GiG Portable rocks. This speaker is lightweight, has great battery life, and above all, sounds amazing. Deep bass, mids that are just slightly recessed, and highs that sing. I have traveled a number of times with this speaker and I always get ooh's and ahh's from people that hear it.
Summary: I have a lot of songs on my kindle fire and like to stream spotify and I have a 25 year old stereo that works too well to be replaced so this seemed like a good way to get better sound quality from my tablet. On the plus side this is a snap to use right out of the box.
