Summary: I purchased this stereo for a loft apartment -- tall ceilings, but essentially one giant room. For the price (it was $165 when I bought), it is a great purchase. I was looking for something not too thumpy (thin walls with neighbors) but still big enough to fill up an apartment with good background music. I also wanted a low profile and Airplay.
Summary: These speakers sound incredible. I would not spend $600, but at ~$160, it is a deal. A little clunky if you want to use the aux or USB input. Would have preferred a selection switch instead of pressing the button and looking for the two blinking lights or 3 blinking lights. Also, when powered off and then on, it doesnt retain the position it was left in - it defaults to wireless. Not a big deal though.
Summary: I am in love with these units. I have four of them in various rooms in my house. They were, and still are, $550 at some sellers. Klpisch discontinued them about a year ago and it seams that all of Amazon's resellers are dumping their stock for about $165. Unfortunately to get 4 good ones I had to order a total of 6. Two of them went back, one for a bad power button and one that refused to stay connected or take the firmware update.
awesome little airplay speaker that also makes for a great sound bar

Summary: I liked the G-17 Air so much that soon after I purchased one I bought a second one (both cost about $160). I have one hooked up to a TV through the 3.5 mm jack. It sounds great working off my Toshiba's 3.5 stereo out, producing crips highs, clear mids and a very satisfying bass (perhaps too much for some tastes, but I really like the klipsch thump). It is an excellent sound bar, filling a 12' x 12' room nicely.
Summary: Base is OK, about what I expected from a small unit Power cord is very long. Wall mount is simple. Also has USB port for direct input. Wifi Setup was easy; it sets up its own network, you connect to it, and it learns the Real network information from your Mac.
Summary: We have enjoyed Klipsch speaker units for many years now. This has great sound and the added convenience of Airplay which allows us to use our laptops, iPad, AppleTV, while also having speaker units around the house. Best wireless speaker unit we have ever had and we tried out many (and had to return a few because they couldn't hold the wi-fi signal). We've had no connectivity issues so far... and have tested extensively.
Summary: I bought these speakers for $150 and at that price you really can't go wrong. They are some excellent sounding speakers, playing music is a pure joy. The airplay however is terrible (at least in my case) and I would not purchase if you need wireless speakers. However, when a device is plugged in through the usb or auxillery port the speakers work flawless. I LOVE these speakers and everyone in my dorm is jealous of the absolute steal I was able to get on them.
Summary: I had been looking for an airplay speaker for my kitchen to cmoplete my goal of airplay in every room. I had heard of the Klipsch, and seen good reviews, but didn't consider it due to the high price. When I saw the price here on Amazon I decided to give it a try. It may bear mentioning that I have a strong wifi g (doesn't work with N) signal throughout my place. Mine came with the crooked stand issue, where the baseplate of the stand is not aligned with the speaker.
Summary: I'd purchased this item as a gift and I'd say this is one of the better iPod/iPad docks that I have had the pleasure of experiencing. The sound is warm, crisp and pleasant. However, as indicated by the other reviews it doesn't come close to a proper monitor speaker set-up. The support provided by Klipsch in setting up this product has been excellent! I'd highly recommend this product if you are after a dedicated AirPlay speaker.
