Summary: I am compelled to review this product and let other buyers beware. There is a reason this device is cheap: according to Klipsch this is a 2 year old product that this seller has gotten a hold of and it is discontinued for a reason--PROBLEMS.
Stars do not tell the whole story -- older reviews no longer valid as software has made this speaker unusable in 2014

Summary: I've had this speaker since 2012. I am tech savvy and own many wireless speakers, printers and devices. Two of the toughest devices to set up are wireless printers and this Klipsch Airplay Speaker.
Summary: Fatal flaws prevent the speakers from being properly used as speakers. I have two of these speakers, and both of them have the same issue: The connection will drop. Worst of all, it is GUARANTEED that it will drop at some point.
Summary: I bought this a little over a year ago from BestBuy. After working 3 times, then not using it for 6mos, it won't work now. It just flashes a steady purple light. I can't reset it, can't get it to switch to the Aux input, nothing. Klipsch is no help. Do *NOT* buy this.
Summary: In the end, hope will not make this thing work. I gave it two weeks and many hours of connecting, reconnecting; updating firmware and re-updating; powercycling, restarting, resetting; reading manuals and web forums; FAQs--you name it.
Summary: I purchased this product as 'new' in early September 2013. It arrived promptly in brand new condition. It found my network easily and it sounded so good I bought another one on Amazon a month later.
Summary: I bought the G-17 Air about 6 months ago, started using it and loved it. Fantastic quality and loved that it worked through WiFi. Should be noted that we're an Apple household. Apple routers, computers, phones, everything - so Airplay was certainly a feature we wanted and sought out.
great sound; doesn't stay connected. product discontinued.

Summary: Bought the Klipsch G-17 a little over a year ago. The sound is terrific, though i'm no audiophile. Unfortunately, the WiFi connectivity via AirPlay - which the only reason to buy it - is just plain terrible.
Summary: The G-17 is not at all worthy of the Klipsch brand. Approximately 80% of the time, it either cannot connect to the wireless network, or when it does decide to work, it cuts in and out until you get so angry, you want to throw it in a fire pit.
