Summary: I am compelled to review this product and let other buyers beware. There is a reason this device is cheap: according to Klipsch this is a 2 year old product that this seller has gotten a hold of and it is discontinued for a reason--PROBLEMS.
Stars do not tell the whole story -- older reviews no longer valid as software has made this speaker unusable in 2014

Summary: I've had this speaker since 2012. I am tech savvy and own many wireless speakers, printers and devices. Two of the toughest devices to set up are wireless printers and this Klipsch Airplay Speaker.
Summary: Fatal flaws prevent the speakers from being properly used as speakers. I have two of these speakers, and both of them have the same issue: The connection will drop. Worst of all, it is GUARANTEED that it will drop at some point.
Summary: PROs: - Sounds Great! CONS: - iOS 8 is broken! - Frequently cuts out. An App is required to setup with speaker, which isn't really a problem, but the App does not support iOS 8! I bought this less than 6 months ago, and it is now a very large and expensive paperweight.
Summary: I bought this a little over a year ago from BestBuy. After working 3 times, then not using it for 6mos, it won't work now. It just flashes a steady purple light. I can't reset it, can't get it to switch to the Aux input, nothing. Klipsch is no help. Do *NOT* buy this.
Summary: In the end, hope will not make this thing work. I gave it two weeks and many hours of connecting, reconnecting; updating firmware and re-updating; powercycling, restarting, resetting; reading manuals and web forums; FAQs--you name it.
Difficult to set up with a 10.0.1 etc home network
16 March 2014
Summary: The instructions said to “Disconnect the internet cable from your computer…” What the hey does that mean? My home network is not that simple. I have a router that connects to the cable modem. Both computers are connected to my router via Ethernet cable with wireless turned off on both machines.
Summary: I listen almost exclusively to internet radio, though sometimes use Spotify and Pandora. Having also owned the BoseSoundtouch 30 and 20, and Boston Acoustics MC200air for comparison, I have a small sample to compare with the Klipsch.
