Summary: When wall mounted, these are thinner than my LED TV. The G-12 doesn't come with a wall mounting bracket like the G-28. They do sound better when wall mounted than on the stand.
Pros: The molded tweeters in the Gallery series speakers are excellent. I can see how they would complement the tweeters in a Polk RTi system. To repeat the previous comments, the finish is very high quality and they look beautiful with or without the cover. They have a good sound stage and depth with some reflection from the port on the right side.
Cons: The G-12's are not full range speakers and have limited midrange and no bass. The low end of the frequency range specified seems to be misleading based on my listening. The speaker may sound better if the 3" driver provided stronger midrange to match the more efficient tweeter.
Summary: I have worked in high-end audio and have been blessed to have a discerning ear and have listened to a plethora of audio setups and speakers in my day. I can honestly say the sound that these Gallery series speakers put out is shockingly good. Clear as a bell and the midrange output is so tight. Midrange isn't overwhelming, but man it's so tight and present. Couldn't believe my ears (and eyes). I own a home where I had installed the Klipsch THX professional cinema system.
Summary: Got a pair of these speakers to have music on my living room. I was amazed by the quality of the sound, speakers look nice, they feel rock solid, are light, they come with a table-base but mine are hanging off the wall and no adapter is needed, they are very much ready to hang. I was hesitant about the power and capability to deliver in a relatively large area (12 ft by 12 ft), but they are more than enough.
Summary: Used this speaker to replace my Klipsch RC-52 from mid-2000's. Amazing sound from such a thin speaker. I bought this without listening to them anywhere, and am very pleased. Great Klipsch sound. Running off Pioneer 1222k pushing tons of power and no issues. Looking for a good deal for 2 more to complete front sound stage.
Summary: I am using the Klipsch G-12’s as satellite speakers with an Energy Power 10 subwoofer (Energy is one of the Klipsch companies). The subwoofer crossover is set at 150 Hz which provides a smooth transition from the upper bass to the midrange where the G-12’s take over. I am a classical musician who knows exactly how each instrument sounds, and this speaker system faithfully recreates the “live” sound.
Excerpt: I use these speakers as the rear channel speakers in a 5.1 home theater. They provide excellent sound, they are obviously a high quality "build," and they are totally unobtrusive visually, and when you do notice them, they are extremely attractive. Another plus is that they can easily be mounted in a number of configurations and work well with some of the "wireless" rear channel devices on the market.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Install company recommended this speaker to use as center channel. Low profile which is what I wanted so it did not stick out from the wall further than the TV. Great sound but does need a sub-woofer to get the deep base.
