Summary: After reading the actual review on the JBL Studio 130s , I wanted to buy them ....After I got them , I hooked them up to my 30 yr old ONKYO stereo receiver and wow !!! , the sound quality is awesome - for a little speaker like this one , the bass is tremendous and the highs are well defined and smooth...they are by far the best bookshelf speakers for the money that I've owned so far ( I've owned Infinity , also ). They look good , too!!
Summary: These should not be your main speakers but at this price they are def a great pick for your rears delv crisp surround sound and a deep bass paired with the 180 jbl and a powered sub woofer great edition to your sound !
Summary: These were my first speakers I actually spent a decent amount of money on. My setup, Bic-F12 Sony STR-DE595 Receiver ( A tad bit old but works great ) Sony F6000's Sony B-1000's Sony Center Channel, cant remember the model number its on here for $70 Technical's, I have it hooked up with 12 gauge wire, runs sweet even at max volume no distortion, and quite loud, dont expect to blow your walls down but you definitely will be able to hear these baby's throughout your home...
Summary: I purchased these speakers because I was looking for some speakers to replace my old outdated Pioneers. Originally, I only bought these because of their price and I know that JBL usually makes decent products. I was pleasantly surprised to find them to be both powerful and rich. For sub-$200 you can't beat these.
