May only be 4" drivers, but you would never know it after listening to this center.

Summary: I got a great deal on a pair of JBL Studio 180's, so felt compelled to get the120c matching center. I've had center channels in the past that had 6.5" AND 5.25" drivers, so was a bit skeptical that 4" drivers would be large enough. Once I hooked this up and tried it in a movie, my doubts were erased. The cabinet of this speaker is actually rather large, coming in at about 21" wide and 9.5" deep.
Summary: What an amazing deal. these are really center channel speakers, but I used them as 'center location' speakers and they really fill the bill. Got them really fast too... 3 days, standard shipping.
Summary: This replaced a bose center channel that I just couldn't get the voices to come out loud enough. This thing blends very nicely when it needs to but when comes time for dialog you can here them clean and clear . My tv stand might be the problem as the spot for my center channel is almost closed In making the ports on the back of center channel almost useless. Might try plugging them to see what happens.
Summary: I added this to my 7 channel speaker system. Although it was a great system with great speakers, this center channel is what really works with the sub woofer to bring your experience alive. It is just as effective on "normal" shows to allow you to hear all of the dialogue as it is on the "heavy action" scenes that might find you seeking to duck under cover!
Absolutely stunned by the diifference this speaker made.

Summary: Granted, it was replacing a complete piece of garbage - though the piece of garbage was a designated center channel speaker. I'm using it in a very entry level 7.1 system, but I would wager that this particular speaker would be the one the makes the most difference. I have 2 JBL northridge *" 2-way, a pair of big bad KEnwood LS-408c's and for the rear surround a pair of Ramsa 8" with horn tweeters - oh and a modest 12 inch 150 watt subwoofer.
Summary: Like many people, I was happy with a standard home theater in a box 5.1 system, with 5 small speakers including a tiny center channel. After replacing the front pair with some nice floor standing JBL's, the center channel's weakness really stood out and needed to be addressed. I was so pleased with the large JBL's I figured this would be equally good. I was mistaken. It wasn't equally good, it was phenomenal.
