Great quality speakers for the price range

Sri, Amazon
22 December 2013
  • Summary: Using the two speakers as surround speakers in my media room along with the 5 speaker definitive energy speaker package that I bought in best buy. I Have a Denon avr 2000 receiver. . I am not an extreme audiophile but certainly these speakers are doing an excellent job for a great theater experience. They came with all the necessary parts and installing them in my media room ceiling was pretty easy. Nothing bad to say about these speakers so far.

5 stars for this great pair of speakers.

RMG "ASU OC DEVIL", Amazon
18 November 2013
  • Summary: These are excellent speakers. I had never installed ceiling speakers before but once I had the speaker wire run it was a simple, straight forward process. These speakers are in my kitchen/family room, a room of about 800-900 square feet. I bought these to replace a set of very good Bose 201's that were sitting on my floor. We got tired of looking at them and tired of the kids standing on them.

Solid Speakers

Richard E. Elder, Amazon
18 October 2013
  • Summary: I had bought some SP6C speakers directly from JBL 6 years ago and have been happy with them, so when I wanted to expand my whole house audio, I looked for the same speakers. The SP6CII speakers have the added feature of swivel tweeter, but otherwise are the same easy to install, solid feeling speakers.

Everything as advertised

Edward Manning, Amazon
13 July 2013
  • Summary: The hardest thing about installing these was measuring where to punch the hole. These are extremely easy to install. Cut the hole put your speaker wires into the provided place, push them up into the ceiling, tighten the screws and sit back and listen to your AV receiver. These have good solid sound quality. I have a subwoofer with mine because I enjoy that deep bass sound. They look great in the ceiling. I would suggest these to anyone thinking of ceiling speakers.

Very good value for the money

Terry S, Amazon
28 January 2013
  • Summary: These are very good sounding speakers across the dynamic range. My only reason for not 5 stars is that it would be nice if they came with a back baffle of some sort. It would tighten up the bass. Highly recommended however.

Sounds Great

Christian, Amazon
30 December 2012
  • Summary: **** Update **** I purchased this item for $135.62 and was happy with the price. North of $200, I think these are getting too pricey. I had pre-existing 6.5" speakers installed in my ceiling, so installation literally was a 20 minute process. I think the speakers sound good. In my opinion, most speakers sound good on their own and unless you can compare them side by side with something else, they sound great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Does not beat Klipsch, but...

robk64, Amazon

  • Summary: They come close! I was in the market for quality in-celing speakers that wouldn't break the bank. The newer JBL speakers are the way to go. I had the chance to sound test by visiting friends and family with different setups. I know, every house is different. You can install the exact same speakers in someone else's house and have them sound better/worse depending on the room design/dimensions. For me, I guess I got lucky. These speakers sound great.
