Summary: I like almost everything about this soundbar especially a sound. Sound quality is most important for me in soundbar. I am happy with it overall. I didn't give it 5 stars because of following technical and/or design flaws. HDMI control: I cannot get its volume controlled with TV remote leveraging HDMI CEC.
Summary: Easy to instal great sound! Can't believe how small remote is! Ridiculously small, smaller than credit card! What? No Bluetooth button on remote?!?! Great system got very very cheap with remote.
Summary: A little pricey for $550, but I'm able to control the bass level and cross over level. Connect this to a 125" projector with optical audio cable and it blast action movies with real clear sound. Connect iphone, ipad without wires is a plus.
Summary: Our open floorplan living room limited our ability to install surround sound in any kind of decent configuration, so we went with a soundbar - which the wife got for me for Father's Day, 2013. As far as sound quality in the showroom, this was second only to Bose (beating out Sony, Panasonic and a host of lesser brands we listened to in a sound room). Pricey at around $550, but worth every penny if you care about sound clarity/depth and can't do surround like us.
Summary: I purchased this unit with the intent of wall mounting and using HDMI connections. The compact nature of this unit leaves little room to work with. I would say it’s near impossible to use HDMI and the supplied wall mount bracket. The bracket covers a lot of the area where you’d be returned the cables into the wall.
Summary: This sound bar is certainly an improvement over my Sony TV's speakers. At first, I could not get my cable remote to control the volume nor could I get the on-screen display to work. A 10 minute call to Crutchfield Support resolved both issues. Turns out that I was misreading the setup instructions. My initial setup had the sub positions behind the seating area in the room.
Pros: Good looks Synching the sub was a snap Sounds great Bluetooth allows me to stream music from my phone or tablet
Cons: Setup directions too vague and not descriptive enough More functionality from the remote
Summary: The sound quality is quite good. Many of the reviews hit the nail on the head...it is good for the price. I wanted the Klipsch SB3. I found out it did not have Bluetooth streaming...this is an important feature for me because I like to be able to stream Pandora or my Amazon music. I get it all put together...and I found out that you CANNOT switch to Bluetooth with the remote. The only way you can turn on Bluetooth is to get up...and press the Bluetooth button.
Summary: Enjoying the sound of the JBL Cinema SB 400 ... only draw back so far is blue tooth signal appears to be intermittent when using my Mini I-pad ... not sure which component is having difficulty ... could be the SB 400, the I-pad, or both ...
Pros: Great sound ...
Cons: Possible problems with blue tooth technology
