Excerpt: The sound bar had good sound, not great sound. Our biggest problem was that we could not get our TiVo remote to control the volume up or down. It would only control the mute. We love TiVo and do not want to have to use 2 remote to control the TV. Would only recommend this if you are not a TiVo user.
Summary: Great sound and solid subwoofer! There are a few detractors however. Like previously stated no Bluetooth button on the remote. That's not terrible just an inconvenience. The wall mount is a bit flimsy but it should work.
Excerpt: Bought this for my lake condo, setup was very simple. Pairing subwoofer was quick and also easy. Has good sound, not a replacement for my home system with large floorstanding speakers. Remote is very cheap and I worry if it will hold up. Did twice make a "pop" sound through the subwoofer.
Summary: This sound bar was not for me. Had 4 real issues that forced me to return it. #1 hdmi cables stick past the feet, so this is not a table top sound bar. #2 loud popping and cracking sounds while watching blu Ray movies. #3 not compatible with directv remote. #4 sound never synced up with video.
Summary: The JBL has good strong bass which you can always control the desired amount. Vocals on the other hand is weak. Would have been better if there is a setting for clear voice when you just want to hear more vocals in shows. The surround modes doesn't do much to help boost vocals.
Excerpt: Just opened this today. My only complaint is that the Bluetooth function has little range. you have to be sitting right in front of it to work and even then it cuts in and out. Fortunately I have a Logitech Bluetooth module that works way better and all I need is an HDMI to RCA cable to hook it up.
Summary: Can't get sound to play through sound bar using HDMI ARC. Tech support where I purchased this said it was a bad arc port but I exchanged it and still can't get it to work. Could it be another bad arc port?
