Excerpt: Despite rave reviews, I wasn't expecting these to sound half as good as they do. Very balanced and believable sound, great imaging, and especially well exposed mids. Great sound for small rooms, and for the price, you can't afford not to get them.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: These little speakers are fantastic. IMHO, they're the best deal in the 5" driver market right now. You're not going to hear any super-deep bass, but if you're looking for that, you shouldn't be considering 5" monitors in the first place. If you want the extra lows, add a sub. The waveguide is the same same one from their $10k commercial speakers, and really does widen the sweet-spot.
Pros: Accurate, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: Let me start by saying that I am listening to these monitors as I am typing and I am just absolutely impressed! Honestly, I have not stopped listening to them since I set them up yesterday! I am an editor and these speakers make voice and music sound clear, crisp, and very clean. Set them up correctly, and you are submersed into the amazing sound these speakers make. I feel like I am "there". The bass is perfect - no need to be thumping.
Pros: Attractive Design, Clarity, Design, Easy to Mount, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: I have had my pair of 305s for over a week now and am delighted both with the monitors and the service from B&H. These sit on my desk for listening to tunes--streamed, 44.1/16, and 96/24--while I work. I'm a music lover and audio enthusiast as opposed to a music pro. Each of mine sits on a pair of foam yoga blocks to get the tweeters up to ear level and to isolate the enclosures from the desk.
Summary: This monitors are a HomeRun for JBL. They sound outstanding, very clear in high, low and mid frequencies. They have bass, but its not that bassy muddy sound that you usually feel on the KRKs, its a clear low frequency, you feel more the presence of it rather than sound itself, very hard to explain. Anyways, I was blown away by the sound quality, very satisfied. I purchased a pair to replace some Mv40 and I was afraid not to notice some difference and man was I wrong.
Pros: Clear sound, price, design, great for most projects, size and connectivity. Did I mention the price?
Cons: You really need to be precise on your rig. This monitors picks up some of my computer electric activity. I have a external usb audio interface (2i2 Scarlet) and they pick up anytime the computer is processing, it a very subtle grinding ruble interference, but I noticed. Its probably my setup and I'm working on it, I don't think its the product's fault.

Pros: -Sound quality -clarity -balance -crisp -not the largest footprint
Cons: -not the smallest footprint -no speaker protection (but most pro monitors do not have grills)
Excerpt: These monitors are surprisingly accurate for their size. The bass is thick but not over compensated like KRK monitors are known for. I've got these in the 8in and 5in models, and I like the 5's better for near field. JBL always has had top quality products and they certainly did it again! I'd highly recommend these for the price.
Excerpt: Don't think twice! I got my pair 2 weeks ago and was lucky that they were on a $[$]off discount the day I bought them. Initially eyeing the Yamaha but after hearing them at B&H, I didn't think twice and immediately purchased my pair.Never heard anything like this, especially with proper positioning you can never go wrong with these monitors!Definitely one of the best bang for the buck item I bought in years!Even used it on small gathering and the hall was rocking!
