Pros: I was a little worried getting these speakers. I purchased these for under $200 though Newegg. I have to say these were worth every dollar. The mids and highs are great paired with a polk PSW 110. Remeber that the sub does most of the work, so dont go cheap on that. These are small speakers, but ...
Cons: I cant really say anything negative about these speakers. You will want a good sub!
Pros: I am by no means an audio expert and bough these partial on the great review that Joshua S posted. I needed a new pair of front towers for my 8.1 setup after lightning took out my Infinity speakers. I saw these for $179.00 with free shipping and decided to try them. In everything I have thrown at...
Cons: Trebles is not that sharp but overall a good speaker.
Summary: These are really good speakers. They sound really clear. Highs are great. Mids are just right. The bass is lacking. But it's only a 6.5" bass driver. So I didn't expect a lot of bass. But you wil want to add a sub. I payed $180 for them an are worth it. They look great and are slim.

Summary: This is not a "acoustically padded room, high dollar test equipment" review. It is a "real world" review from someone with past experience with higher-end speakers and amplifiers in a home stereo setting.
Pros: 1. Nice fit and finish. 2. Small footprint. 3. Nice relatively flat frequency response. 4. Can absorb significant amounts of power without evident strain. 5. Does not have overly harsh/sibilant tweeters. 6. Lowest midrange is crossed over at a low frequency negating the "woofers are on the side o...
Cons: 1. Unusual 7/8" spacing on the terminal cups(old standard is 3/4"). Important if purchasing unified banana plugs. 2. VERY slight port noise while playing demanding bass inputs when port velocities are high. You can only hear this if listening for it, and it is barely noticeable.
But this is great choice for under $200/pair range

Summary: I bought a pair at $189 from newegg.com. I'm telling you, NEVER EVER PAY OVER $200 FOR THIS!! If you considering this at JBL's MSRP, go compare with Klipsch Reference RF-42 and you will definitely grab Klipsch one. The MSRP of this speakers is BS. Period.
