Summary: LOVE THEM! These speakers replaced my very, old JBL L65's which i got in early 70's. I hung on to them until I could not stand the degradation in the quality of the sound one day more. I love the new speakers also because it was very simple to connect to my system.
Summary: I have had a few months to listen to these speakers and switched between a couple different amps to come to a solid conclusion for these speakers. I mainly use these speakers to watch movies that is paired with the matching JBL center speaker and some mismatched surround speakers.
Music is like candy, and these speakers are marzipan and nougat.

Summary: Yes, they pound. If you're bi-wiring, make sure you enable bi-wiring and/or bi-amping in your receiver. I didn't, for a year. And it makes a huge difference. Kept wondering what was wrong with either the speakers or the receiver, and that was it. Came across the application with much difficulty.
Summary: Without a doubt the finest speakers I've ever owned. I replaced a pair of Sony towers I bought new about the years ago. The Sony's were not bad speakers, they just aren't near as good as these.
