Summary: Speaker itself is brilliant sound quality .. Descend base and clear mid and low , high are a bit too much but easily adjustable with EQ on your amp. Using with 80 W per channel at 8 Ohm and sound brilliant with another subwoofer .
Summary: Nice speakers for the price. Comes with two types of feet, and metal spikes if you want to use them. You do NOT need a subwoofer with these, bass is more than adequate. Sound is fairly neutral. No nasty highs or mids. Bass decent. I am happy with them. They are made across the Pacific.
Summary: UPDATE: If you are using the Pioneer AV receivers, it might help to toggle with your receiver "memory settings" from the "audio parameter" button. Am not sure if those were preset sound configurations or if it set them when I first did the advanced MCACC calibration.
