I have had these speakers for a week I think they sound very good, the design/look is excellent. The integrated optional floor spikes (included) is a good option. You will need to experiment
with the placement of these speakers to achieve the desired bass response. I have these speakers dedicated to a two channel stereo system. They are a little bright, however I prefer brightness over a muddled sound, just adjust the bass/treble to your liking. I highly recommend these speakers, the classic JBL sound. I power up these speakers with a Yamaha A-S 500, they work well together. Note:I live in a Condo thus I can not push these speakers to Loud, just sometimes, they really shine at high level.
Perfect match for my dinosaur Yamaha A-1000 amp. Previous speakers couldn't handle output without distortion. These units blow the windows out above level 4. Terrific sound definition with very strong bass & mid-range. Treble sufficient when dialed up. A little tall in stature but they look great. Very satisfied.
