    Perfect match for my dinosaur Yamaha A-1000 amp. Previous speakers couldn't handle output without distortion. These units blow the windows out above level 4. Terrific sound definition with very strong bass & mid-range. Treble sufficient when dialed up. A little tall in stature but they look great. Very satisfied.

  • Do i really need the subwoofer??

    I purchased these speakers as a gift to myself and I have yet to try them since x-mas has yet to arrive but i am debating do i need the subwoofer i will only use these es80 speakers for listening to music not surround sound? So what do you think pay the 300 for the subwoofer or not?

  • I just ordered JBL es80 speakers and a kam kxr 300 amp.(cables?)

    I just bought a pair of jbl es80 speakers and a kam kxr 300 amp and was wondering what cables I should buy so they will work.Also is it possible to play music from macbook via wifi, once the speakers and amp are hooked up.I'm gonna have this set up in my living room.Also I'm getin internet fitted soon, so will this help with as above?.I have active speakers in my bedroom but am a bit confused with pa speakers via amp?,.cheers.ross
