Summary: I purchased this sub 2 years ago. It was always a bit sloppy and boomy-however-I didn't mind much since it was used for home theater. Problem is this-the thing died and it's only 2 years old!!
Summary: This is a big subwoofer. It can get pretty loud during an action movie so I turned it down a little. I also like the auto shut-off feature but I think that's pretty standard these days for modern subwoofers. A good buy.
Summary: Finally got a chance to hook this thing up, wow like other reviews, it will shake the china in the cabinets. But I will have to power this thing down a lot, in order to have a peaceful life at home. Beautiful finish on, but does leave finger prints, which i ok as its hidden away.
Summary: I looked and looked for a review for this unit prior to purchasing it at the Costco price and could not find one; and still cannot find one months later. I'm not a technical audiophile just someone who upgraded their AV-stereo system to 2012 7.1 standards and needed to add a center channel speaker...
Summary: This basic subwoofer has the nice piano black finish. JBL also provides a lengthy cable for the buyer. Although this basic subwoofer lacks frequency adjustment, it does get the job done by shaking items in your room. I bought this at Costco when they had a clearance for the display model at $115.
