Summary: Nice quality product can be used wireless or wired. On small problem, I bought to of these over the past year and the battery in the remote was virtually dead on arrival and had to be replaced. The battery is not cheap. Also the operating range of the remote is very limited.
Summary: These speakers have a couple of minor drawbacks/annoyances, but there is nothing about them that is insurmountable. As others have noted, JBL included a plethora of cables in the box that were simply unnecessary.
Summary: These JBL 2.4G Speakers were almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted wirless speakers to play my digital music from my computer out by the pool. Although they are wireless from the computer, you still have to plug one speaker into a three-pronged outlet.
They sound good and work fine if you know what you're getting

Summary: I worried about getting these because of the bad reviews. Many of the reviewers didn't understand what they were buying. You get a transmitter with a power supply that plugs into the wall. You get a speaker with built-in amp that has another power supply plugged into the wall.
Summary: I use this system on my patio next to the pool area and am very impressed with the separation, frequency response and overall sound quality. For small speakers, they have good bass and the highs are wonderful. Set-up was easy.
Summary: I bought this product to replace a set of RCA wireless speakers that were unsatisfactory (besides the fact that it came with TWO LEFT speakers). I was pleasantly surprised with the build and design quality of this JBL set. Plenty of speaker wire was provided. The little remote works fine for me.
Summary: I wanted to pipe music from a stereo in the dining room into the kitchen without trailing wires between the rooms, in as long as it takes to boil a kettle I had achieved it with this nice bit of kit.
Summary: Ok you don't need cable twixt the transmitter and speakers, but you have to connect the "Master" speaker to the "Slave" speaker with normal twin wire cable. There are products on the market whose speakers are truly wireless and where no cable is required.
