Summary: Nice quality product can be used wireless or wired. On small problem, I bought to of these over the past year and the battery in the remote was virtually dead on arrival and had to be replaced. The battery is not cheap. Also the operating range of the remote is very limited. You will have to hard wire the Left/Right speakers as only one has a transeiver. With all that said the good points by far out weighted the few negatives.
Summary: These speakers have a couple of minor drawbacks/annoyances, but there is nothing about them that is insurmountable. As others have noted, JBL included a plethora of cables in the box that were simply unnecessary. It is nice that they took the forethought and expense to enable me to take my speakers to Europe and plug in there without making me buy a power converter, but I would have been just as happy without those cables.
Summary: These JBL 2.4G Speakers were almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted wirless speakers to play my digital music from my computer out by the pool. Although they are wireless from the computer, you still have to plug one speaker into a three-pronged outlet. The second speaker is connected via speaker wire to the primary speaker making them not truly wireless.
They sound good and work fine if you know what you're getting

Summary: I worried about getting these because of the bad reviews. Many of the reviewers didn't understand what they were buying. You get a transmitter with a power supply that plugs into the wall. You get a speaker with built-in amp that has another power supply plugged into the wall. You get a second speaker that is cabled to the first. The transmitter gets it's signal via 2 RCA connectors or an iPhone headset type jack.
Summary: I bought this product to replace a set of RCA wireless speakers that were unsatisfactory (besides the fact that it came with TWO LEFT speakers). I was pleasantly surprised with the build and design quality of this JBL set. Plenty of speaker wire was provided. The little remote works fine for me. I had to do a bit of tweaking of the transmitter antenna and the receiver orientation to avoid occasional dropouts.
Summary: These speakers are on the top of the 'not bad' scale. Considering the convience of the wireless system the downsides may easily be overlooked. Sound quality: Very Good. Wireless signal: Fair. If you have thick walls in your house - or want to use them outside without a clear view of the transmitter - you will be dissapointed.
Summary: Once it is set up and working it is great! You would never know the audio source is wireless and the speakers themselves are good. Due to their size, they are a bit weak on the bass side. However, I noticed they had a subwoofer output and I bought a subwoofer and connected it. That took care of low end and I can now call the final effect "Hi-Fi". There are however some "features" you need to watch out for: 1. The input to the transmitter HAS to be a pre-amplified signal.
