Summary: I am extremely pleased with the overall acoustic qualities this system delivers; It would be very hard to compete against the "Cinema 300" while making a similar 'investment' in home entertainment!
Summary: Upgraded from a onkyo mid range system to this and the sound and bass is a big improvement. The powered woofer is a US power voltage so a converter to 220V is required for me. Definitely a good buy!
Summary: These speakers are tremendous! The sound is perfect and installation was simple. I mounted all mine on the walls and they are small enough to not draw attention. The sub-woofer is enormous (even a little too big) which makes it harder to camouflage.

We placed the speakers, that come with ample wire to place them around an average-sized room, in all corners of the room, and sat...
Summary: To set a baseline, before upgrading to the JBL Cinema 300 speaker system I was running a pair of Klipsch RB5-II cherry bookshelf speakers with a Yamaha receiver. Clean sound, but voices were forever getting lost during DVD and Netflix viewing, and the sound was two dimensional.
Summary: I had my hubby review this product, as I am AV-challenged.... I've been on 5.1 surround systems for many years, usually fairly inexpensive Sony systems. When you think about it, the cost of a large amplifier and a full set of 5.1 surround speakers for $200 means the speakers probably aren't that...
Summary: I want to buy BOSE but I could not afford it. JBL is nice and I bought. I am using this in my home and quite nice. Remember, you must buy the 5-1 receiver. I bought the Sony receiver and connected my JBL with it......... I will recommend it to anyone who is interested to buy a BOSE alternative.
