I have to forget what my main system sounds like...
30 March 2014
Summary: My main system is a Martin Logan 7.1 electrostatic speakers system. I liken listening to speakers to test driving cars. If you test drive a BMW 3 Series and then drive a Honda CR-V (yes, I have both of these cars) you're going to be thoroughly disappointed in the CR-V.
Summary: After seeing the rave reviews here, I suppose I was looking for something that was batting above its average. I was a bit disappointed at the sound range, especially of the front mains. It is a good starter set, and is worth the 200 paid, but not more, and not above what you would expect.
Summary: These are very good for the price. I hooked it up withe only 626 receiver and after little bit of tweaking (on the receiver) the sound was amazing. I recommend this to anyone who is just setting up a home theater with less than 600 bucks. Including the receiver.
Summary: I got these for a STEAL. Klipsch makes Jamo and Energy so you know its coming down a renowned factory line. These were suggested by a friend and I am a happy camper. I actually got 2 sets of these for my 7.2 home theater. I am using the remaining 3 speakers (Center and Surround) in a different room.
Summary: I was looking for a very budget friendly setup and spent a couple months listening to speakers in stores and reading many online reviews.I found this set on amazon for 199 and was a little skeptical on what they would sound like, look like, build quality etc.
