Jamo i300

18 July 2007
  • Summary: The best iPod docking system available, but at a cost so high that its small flaws seem much more significant. No dedicated docking system will sound as good as this, but your wallet will not thank you for emptying it for something that isn't as perfect as it could be
  • Pros: Excellent sound and build quality; positionable satellite speakers; 3.5mm line-in socket.
  • Cons: Some muddiness in the mid-range; price.

Expert Review

  • Conclusion: If you want to listen to music, go for the i-Deck, but if you want a relatively flexible system that is better than most other competitors, this is a good option.
  • Pros: Lack of warmth and bass detail, Limited bass control, One of the most expensive iPod docks
  • Cons: Crystal-clear sound, Separate sub and satellites leads to placement flexibility, Attractive finish, Choice of colours to suit your iPod
