Summary: I had serious reservations about the quality of this product. It seemed too cheap to delivery the deep belly rumbling, mind vibrating, anxiety driving body highs that I was looking for. I'm using it with Infinity bookshelves and center in front, inexpensive Bose in the rear and a Denon AVR-1712 receiver. I'm quite happy to review that I am extremely pleased with my purchase and feel that I've found a great quality subwoofer at a very fair price.
Summary: I had the previous generation of this subwoofer but after a few years of serious use, the power amp finally quit. This model is only slightly larger than the model it replaced, but the difference in sound quality is very noticeable, and I thought the previous model was an excellent value.
Summary: Great sound, accurate, powerful, and great value. However, even after the break in period, I get a strong electrical smell from the rear of the unit. No warranty repair locations near me, so i have no way to fix it. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars. It is being driven by a 7.2 channel onkyo HTR and the gain is at the 12 o clock position.
Summary: I bought one of these for my home-entertainment surround-sound system. This product works great! When on, you can feel the bass with every cell in your body. You can connect it to your receiver with either an RCA cable, or with a special cable designed for sub-woofers. Note: This is a very large unit. Make sure to measure your dimensions before you buy it.
Summary: Recently receive my PS38 subwoofer and am very pleased. I took some time moving subwoofer to various locations to get the best performance. This unit sounds so lifelike and adds a nice boost to deep base. Just right for my small room. Nothing I dislike at this time. Would recommend to anyone for a small to medium size room.
Summary: good sound and not any problems Running with Infinity Primus 2x P363, 2x PS38, 2x P153 2x P163BX 1x PC351. Powered by a Sony 7.2 system. Good sound yet not as loud as one would think meaning you just need to turn it up more so I cant truly consider that a reason to mark it down.
