Summary: I have an iw1 and 2 i2w's. They work perfectly. I would state that the ihome apps work well for setting up your system, but the best system I found to work with these speakers is Whaale. It has been great reliable, and I just purchased another iw1 as the prices are falling I may get more as the Whaale App will allow up to 6 airwave speakers. Great sound, no problems.
Summary: I bought this, and the Belkin Charge and Sync Dock. Together, they'll cost you less than $100, an absolute bargain! My first iHome from 2003 is still going strong, but it's starting to yellow, and a basic lightning adapter wouldn't have worked since the dock connector is slanted. So instead of having to get all complicated in making it work again, I opted for a new one.
Summary: I have 3 of these, one in each work or hobby area for wireless (AirPlay) listening. My iPhone connects quickly and easily so that I always have access to NPR or Pandora or iTunes. EQ is adjustable so I can compensate for my typical older guy loss of high frequencies.
Summary: It was easy to set up and works with no problem with my Mac Airplay, which is what I wanted. I can sit at my computer and stream songs or playlists to this speaker. Sound quality is good, but not Bose quality, but I use it in the kitchen and it is just fine.
