Summary: It constantly drops connection with the network and is real pain to reconnect. I basically don't use it any more. Was also unimpressed with the battery life length. I would suggest a BlueTooth speaker unless you are creating a whole-house networked system.
Summary: Bought it Nov. 2012, by April 2014 the rechargeable batteries would not hold a charge. Otherwise, the unit worked pretty well, but what's the point of a wireless, battery powered portable speaker that's not really portable after 18 months?
Summary: It will not allow me to hook into my existing speaker system wirelessly and therefore will only run as a stand alone speaker. Having said that I will add that the sound quality is surprisingly good.
Great sound, but very limited range and portability

Summary: I'm on my second unit now...first one was replaced under warrantee due to connectivity issues and low volume. The replacement also has problems picking up a decent wireless signal, unless it is within 15 feet of the wireless router...not suitable if you want sound in a different area of the house.
Summary: I was so excited to receive this wireless speaker. The set up was very easy and straightforward. But that is where the good ends. The audio quality on this speaker is terrible. Volume does not get very high and at the higher end it leaves much to be desired.
Summary: I'm very happy with the sound of the iW1 AirPlay speaker but I am very frustrated how it doesn't hold onto my wireless network. Once every couple of days it drops off and doesn't reconnect automatically.
Summary: Initially liked the look and sound, but airplay simply didn't work well enough - pauses, glitches a few times every hour. Not clear if this is due to the speaker or Airplay itself but at the end of the day it's just not quite up to the job
Summary: This product works well intermittently, but loses connection frequently. It seems to have a weak wireless receiver compared to other wireless devices that were used in the same part of the house without any issue. It did not perform to our satisfaction so we returned it.
Looks good, feels good, sounds bad, and not compatible with 802.11n

Summary: The professional reviews that criticize the sound on this device are correct - too much bass, muffled sounding, with a constant hiss. The real kicker though is that it's not compatible with 802.11n networks - only the ancient b/g versions which for me is totally unacceptable in a product made in...
