Fantastic upgrade to bundled "theater in a box" systems.

Summary: Many, many years ago, I bought a "theater in a box" system from Sony. It came with an amp, 5 satellite speakers and a powered subwoofer pushing (what I thought was a great) 120 watts. About 6 months ago, my Sony receiver died and I bought a Denon to replace it.
Summary: I'm not a technical person so this review won't be technical. However, I can tell you that the sound that comes from these speakers is fantastic! We used to have an "out of the box" surround sound set from Sony and while that sounded good, these sound far superior.
Summary: First thing, I'm taking over this review for my wife. Since I set it up and know a bit more about this stuff than she does. What we had prior to the Harman speakers were a set from Sony, nothing to elaborate, fairly new. They were more than serviceable, so I thought.
Summary: I got these speakers to go with my Home Theater system and I am very pleased. The sound is the same high quality that you get at the Metroplex. We have enjoyed "The Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars" recently and the effect of the surround sound is awesome.
Summary: Well-packaged, and great to look at once unwrapped, with quality construction, and no fabric to worry about. It goes without saying that the sound is an improvement of orders of magnitude over a native TV sound system. You don't realize what you've been missing until you've heard these babies.
Summary: Pros: 1. Small and stylish 2. build quality is good 3. comes with wall mount 4. comes with pre-cut speaker wire and can be installed right away 5. high frequency performs very well. 6. The mid is crisp and clear, so you can hear the dialogue very easily. 7.
Summary: I recently purchased these speakers to replace Definitive Technology Cinima600's which cost $900 and these are better then them. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their speakers.
Summary: Works well throughout the range; however suffers somewhat in the range of male voices. System takes some perserverance to get hooked up (required optical cable to complete the setup that wasn't mentioned in any of the manuals (TV, amp, or speakers). Once though that process the rest was all good.
Summary: I finally have these installed in my movie room. Excellent sound and fairly easy to set up. The only complaint is I had to get creative with the wall mounts. They were not the easiest design, but got it to work. Love the speakers and the reciever
