Summary: For the price, this is a great 5.1 speaker system that sounds good. It comes with everything you need to set it up, including stickers to tag the wires, mounts for the walls and all of the speaker cables you need. They also included a cable for the subwoofer. I live in an apartment so this was the perfect size to get the surround experience without blowing my neighbors away (although you could crank it up and they would definitely know you had a good sound system).
Summary: I have recently purchased this speaker and having them for a month now. Looks and sounds great. I would recommend. I have attached it to Pioneer and the sound quality is awesome and base is really good for my apartment.
Summary: If you purchase this and plan to install it yourself, here is what you need to know -- that the manufacturer doesn't tell you in the installation manual. Deploying the sub-woofer in anything but a very small room will require you to purchase two types of extension cables that are not included. The first is a standard RCA cable -- easy enough to find.

Summary: Note - I purchased this system direct from HK, not Amazon. I have only had excellent customer service from Amazon & wished I'd bought it from them, I'm sure they would have resolved my issue to my satisfaction. Upon receiving this system from HK, I tested it an all worked fine. I went ahead & installed the satellites to wall & routed cables thru walls, etc. After the install, the sub woofer failed and would not turn on.
Summary: Bought this system for $400 a few months ago and have been using it since. For the money, it really is an excellent speaker system. Sound clarity is very very good; treble is clear and crisp; bass is pronounced and tight without sounding muffled or boomy. These compare well to the Polk RM85 system I had years ago. That system cost me $700, including the subwoofer.
