Summary: After a yr of regular use expect for you sub amp to go out. Speakers are cover for two Yrs the amp only one. I could get this fixed on ebay for $130 but why bother, Harman Kardon didn't. I'm just going to spend a little more money and get a better quality woofer. The satellite speakers I haven't had a problem with and the avr 2600 has worked perfect. Just do t buy this as a package because the woofer amp WILL DIE! Look it up.
Summary: The nifty looking woofer, bought with the HKTS-15 speaker system plus AVR-15 series amp, started making gurbling sounds 1 year into use. Called Harman and was told where to take the unit for warranty repair. My warranty said two years on speakers, 1 year on amplifiers. After much delay, the authorized shop said the problem was the amp inside the woofer box and HK would not honor my written warranty. No distinction was noted anywhere on any Harman paperwork - none.
Summary: I bought the HKTS-15 setup a couple years ago. It's a great sounding system with good looking speakers that don't overpower your theater room or take up enormous amounts of wall space. My only complaint is the very limited warranty, which I never even considered when purchasing this system because I very rarely have had any electronics go bad in my experience, and being something of a tech nerd I was usually able to fix things that went wrong.
Summary: I love Bose, but these are the best alternative to them in the price range of 300 for used. I hooked it up with yamaha amplifier and it rocks. I do have a audiophile addiction and I am very choosy about quality things.
Summary: I have owned this speaker system for about three years now. The speakers have been connected to AVR 156 (basic avr for someone who is starting up in home theater area). I have been very pleased with the quality of the system. The sound coming from the speakers is very clear. The effects are great. It feels as if I am in a cinema hall. The woofer is also very strong. It looks bulky, but I like the way HK has designed the whole system. In my opineon it is worth buying.
Summary: Okay .....I have tried to find every possible reason as to why my SW keeps turning off then back on. I have a Pioneer VSX-818V receiver that I am running the Harmon Kardon HKTS 15 - 5.1 system through. From day one I have had this problem of the SUB turning off then back on no matter what I try.
Summary: I bought the Harmon Kardon speaker set based upon reviews in Amazon. Let me just say that I am very happy with my decision. The price was great and I love the sound. I also got the stands for the rear speakers and they work really well. You can't see any wires at all. Everything is beautiful. Bottom line: I couldn't be any happier with the purchase and the product.
Summary: I bought this speaker system for immersion in video games, however it performs with everything I throw at it. I bought it at a steal as the price was basically what I would have paid for a 100 watt subwoofer anywhere else, but got 5 nice speakers to come with it! The only con to this system is my own laziness in not wanting to go behind the subwoofer to turn it off, but plenty of AV receivers have an electrical port that will cut power to the sub when the receiver's...
