Summary: Did not need anything fancy. Was easy to set up. The sound is very nice. I like the visible program/clock window. It was longer/bigger than I expected (yes, I know, I should have read that part) but I can make it work.
Summary: Great value and performance! This soundbar is an excellent 2.1 unit. The subwoofer adds more than sufficient base. I also like that their are lights to provide visual cues, however they are behind the mesh screen cover so you don't see them unless you press a button on the remote control.
Summary: We have had this speaker for a little over a year now. Sound quality is, in general, fair; woofer is not very good. However, biggest problem is the wireless signal passing between the speaker and the woofer: it interferes with our internet wireless signal.
Summary: Subwoofer started making loud static-like noises about eight months after purchase. Dealing with Haier was extremely time consuming and frustrating. First they tell me they won't replace it but it has to be repaired - which makes no sense for a cheap item like this.
Summary: Subwoofer has never worked properly. Also you cannot program any other remotes to control the volume. Called Haier about this issue and they struggled to find anyone who even knew how this product works.
Summary: The sound bar and woofer sound very good. The woofer adds good low end. This system is installed in a room without carpeting and very high vaulted ceiling, so I wasn't expecting a miracle, just an improvement over the original tv speakers. This system did provide that.
