Summary: After doing quite a bit of research on which speakers to buy to pair with my Onkyo TX-NR636 I landed on these Take Classic speakers. After they arrived and I opened the box I was finally able to put my hands on these speakers.
Summary: I bought one set for my home theater room (roughly 15' x 30') but decided to try it in my very large living room first. The living room is roughly 20' x 20', with an 18' peak ceiling, and is connected to a very open dining room and kitchen area - in short, a VERY large contiguous air space.

Summary: I have been holding off writing my review as I wanted to break these in and get a feel for what I think. Installation: Took me a full day, and a few more days of tinkering with sound settings and placement in the living room.
Summary: This Energy 5.1 Take Classic passive speaker system is great for the money! It is passive because you need to have AV receiver to drive or power the speakers. Installation was simple. The five smaller but powerful 100 Watt speakers get connect with two conductor speaker wire.

Summary: Honestly, a truly great speaker system. Like others, I questioned if these were as good as advertised and I think they are even better. I replaced a bose satellite system with these and immediately noticed the difference, bang for the buck nothing can touch them. Buy with confidence...
