Summary: After a great review on CNET, I was curious to try the Energy speakers. I was quite impressed with the quality of sound coming from what seems such tiny speakers and the sub woofer is equally impressive.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Thundering Bass
Summary: WOW!! I've paired this with a Sony STRDH550 5.2 Channel 4K AV Receiver, 14AWG Enhanced Loud Oxygen-Free Copper Speaker Wire Cable, PS3 for Blu-rays, and Soundsoul 24k Gold Connector Banana Plugs. This is the most amazing system I've ever owned. Everything sound crisp and clear. I am now spoiled by superior sound quality. Steven Wilson's Grace for Drowning (Blu-ray audio) really shows off the speakers and what music should sound like.
Summary: I replaced my Bose system with these and they are fantastic. The sound is rich and clear with just the right amount of bass. The best price around and the shipping was free and very fast. Will definitly shop here again.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy Setup, Great Looking, Replalce My
Summary: I wanted a good home theater speaker system to go with my Denon AV receiver that did not take up alot of space or cost more than $500. I searched the internet and found great reviews on the Energy Take Classic 5.1 system on the ABT and other websites. All lauded the great sound, size and look particularly when compared to more expensive systems ($500 to $1000).
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good For Movies Music, Great sound, Sleek Look, Takes Up Little Space
Summary: After doing quite a bit of research on which speakers to buy to pair with my Onkyo TX-NR636 I landed on these Take Classic speakers. After they arrived and I opened the box I was finally able to put my hands on these speakers. They are a little bigger than I thought they would be, but mounted to the 9-foot ceilings they do not look "too big" for the room.
Summary: I bought one set for my home theater room (roughly 15' x 30') but decided to try it in my very large living room first. The living room is roughly 20' x 20', with an 18' peak ceiling, and is connected to a very open dining room and kitchen area - in short, a VERY large contiguous air space. I have to say I was nearly literally BLOWN AWAY by not only the overall sound, but the window-rattling bass produced by this "baby" 8" subwoofer in my gigantic living area.
Summary: Bought these speakers to pair with my 5.1 Denon Receiver for use as as a 5.1 surround sound in a semi-dedicated movie room.. The room is large 15 x 25, but the speakers still sound great with crisp dialogue and plenty of bass. You can't beat these speakers for sound in this price range. They look great to boot!
