Summary: Recently purchased the Energy 5.1 Take Classic for my newly purchased Denon AVR 1911 receiver and new Sony Blu Ray player. WoW! At first I was going to put off all purchases because I could not afford the much more expensive speakers that I wanted to buy (Focal Domes).
Summary: Ive had my Take Classics 3 months now. Have them connected to my Onkyo THX 705. Cant believe the sound, richness and bass for such compact speakers. Very classy looking and match up well with any interior. I've seen the price as low as $300.
Summary: After listening to these speakers at Circut City, I immediately gave up my Bose 321 GSX system. These speakers when paired with a quality receiver deliver chest pounding bass and crisp highs and delivery true surround sound. I don't know why I was so loyal to Bose.
Summary: These are very high quality speakers. They sound very good and are able to pick out the details in music and movies other speakers can't. I recommend these speakers for small to medium size rooms.
Summary: These speakers were better than I expected. I replaced a set of bose speakers and could not be happier. The sound is crisp, more depth...and the price was $250 less than what I could have paid at a retail outlet. I was amazed at the quick delivery, they arrived by courier the next day.
Summary: The 8" subwoofer has more woophm, tighter bass than my other recent Klipsch RSW-10D 10". Wow The satellites plays well together. I'm impressed how good the vocals are on the center channels. I can hear clearly the voices. With the amplifier Pioneer VSX-1020, it sounds incredible out of the box.
Summary: Very nice sound for a basement price, when compared to well known brands. Closest negative aspect is that it would be nicer to have a little higher power speakers, but that's asking too much for the value of this system.
