Summary: Sound wise I'd give it 5 stars for the money, but the sub arrived with the port tube unglued and rattling around inside. A quick call to Energy's tech support, unscrewing the driver, and gluing the tube back on from inside did the trick.
Summary: Fantastic Speakers with great sound at a budget price. If I'd paid $600 for these, I would still think these speakers were a deal. They sound that good. Make sure you are feeding them enough power from your amp and they will perform wonderfully.
Summary: WOW!! I've paired this with a Sony STRDH550 5.2 Channel 4K AV Receiver, 14AWG Enhanced Loud Oxygen-Free Copper Speaker Wire Cable, PS3 for Blu-rays, and Soundsoul 24k Gold Connector Banana Plugs. This is the most amazing system I've ever owned. Everything sound crisp and clear.
Summary: After doing quite a bit of research on which speakers to buy to pair with my Onkyo TX-NR636 I landed on these Take Classic speakers. After they arrived and I opened the box I was finally able to put my hands on these speakers.
Summary: I bought one set for my home theater room (roughly 15' x 30') but decided to try it in my very large living room first. The living room is roughly 20' x 20', with an 18' peak ceiling, and is connected to a very open dining room and kitchen area - in short, a VERY large contiguous air space.

Summary: I have been holding off writing my review as I wanted to break these in and get a feel for what I think. Installation: Took me a full day, and a few more days of tinkering with sound settings and placement in the living room.
Summary: In moving to our new house, I decided to finally replace a 12 year old set of Kenwood Home Theater in a Box speakers with something a bit more stylish and punchy sounding. The receiver was replaced years ago, but due to financial inertia I kept the old speakers around.
Summary: This Energy 5.1 Take Classic passive speaker system is great for the money! It is passive because you need to have AV receiver to drive or power the speakers. Installation was simple. The five smaller but powerful 100 Watt speakers get connect with two conductor speaker wire.
