  • Summary: Very pleased with this set of surround speakers. Pleasant bright sound with good musical presence. They sounded a bit weak to start, but after several hours of playing they came in to their own. very good low cost system. P.S. added the Energy 8" sub woofer for smashing movie effects.

L. Decker "DCS", Amazon

  • Summary: Picked these up from Amazon last week to replace my Polk RM705 (Polk sounded ok but has a weak sub). These speakers sound awesome, sub rocks the entire room. Room is 20x20 and is hooked to a Denon AVR-789, Samsung LNA52 120Mhz 52" using a PS3 for blu-ray. Best spks under $1000 by far.

Skydog, Amazon
27 April 2009
  • Summary: First off let me explain that the Energy Classic speakers in this kit are the exact same as the Energy Take Classic 5.1 except that you don't get the subwoofer. These speakers are just mind boggling good. They come in gloss piano black finish.

  • Summary: Ive had my Take Classics 3 months now. Have them connected to my Onkyo THX 705. Cant believe the sound, richness and bass for such compact speakers. Very classy looking and match up well with any interior. I've seen the price as low as $300.

Luxurious sound for an amazing price

Pace Picante, Amazon
15 February 2009
  • Summary: I recently plunged into the HD market -- bought a Samsung LCD (A550), a Sony Blu-ray player (350 model), an Onkyo TX-SR606, and these speakers. I did tons of research on TVs, BDPs, receivers, and speakers. I found 3 audio/video websites that had reviewed the Energy speakers.

Awesome speakers - Great value!

S. Huleis, Amazon
9 February 2009
  • Summary: After listening to these speakers at Circut City, I immediately gave up my Bose 321 GSX system. These speakers when paired with a quality receiver deliver chest pounding bass and crisp highs and delivery true surround sound. I don't know why I was so loyal to Bose.
