Summary: This system delivers much better sound than our new flat screen, which was pretty good all by itself. I am no audiophile, so can't tell you why, but the dialogue is clearer and the rear satellite speakers provide a truly life like experience. We had a home theater set up for the past 10 years but needed new speakers when we moved into a new house. Our living room has a vaulted celing and wood floors and it took us a while to get used to the echo (even with an area rug).
Summary: What else can be said about these horns. I have no knowledge of anyone who finds that some unfavorable comment. simply amazing. They will not disappoint. Great for a room or a small room in your home. Clear sound, defined and powerful.
Summary: Recently bougth an LG 55" LED 3D TV and had it set up with a Pioneer home theater receiver and a Bose system. The speakers are pretty old and had led a rough life. They still sounded pretty good, but I wanted something more current and also surround. I looked for a couple months and finally decided on these Energies. They received many reviews and they were overwhelmingly possitive. And the price was decent, too. I am not disappointed.
Summary: These are fantastic speakers. I highly recommend them. I looked around a lot for some compact speakers that were highly rated. These ones fit the bill perfectly. They stylish, small, and the sound quality is really good considering their size. Other people complained about their sound quality, but there's a couple of things I wish to point out about this: 1) definitely get the sub-woofer; if you don't, you won't have any bass, it's that simple.
Summary: I read a lot of reviews and research a small set of speakers to replace my Athena tower speakers. Like many folks, the time for big old speakers in the family room had passed and I needed smaller speakers for better aesthetics. The Energy's paired with my existing Athena sub and Yamaha 517 sound fantastic. I mounted them on the wall just above my chair rail to be at about ear level when sitting. They sound great and I am very pleased, especially at this price.

Summary: These speakers are wonderful. The sub blends beautifully with the other speakers, and for their size these puppies can get pretty loud. And with ultimate clarity and no distortion. I am extremely happy with this setup and would definitely recommend these to anyone.
Summary: Need some help connecting my Energy sub (has dual mono female RCA inputs) to my Yamaha RX-V671 receiver which has a single female RCA plug. Have tried every possible combo, including a single RCA cable into both R & L sub inputs, but the bass is weak in every configuration -- even with the sub hookup vol cranked up to 90%! Any advice? Update: The first unit that I got was defective and Amazon was fast in sending a replacement. WoW... The sound does shake the walls.
Summary: We just totally remodeled our home and I made sure the living room was wired for sound. I had an old Bose system, but I felt it was time to investigate other speaker packages. I started reading reviews and doing the internet research. Because of the great reviews on Amazon as well as the reviews from industry pros, I decided to give the Energy Take 5 Classic speakers a try.
