Absolutely Astonishing!

  • Summary: I have recently purchased this system paired with a Denon AVR1508. And all I can say is WOW! I originally purchased the POLK RM705 package, and kept them all of 2 days, brought those back and got the Klipsch Quintet III paired with the KSW10 subwoofer, on both systems all the satellites' did was nothing but scream at you and the subwoofer distorted at low to medium levels regardless of what I threw at it, music or home theater (KSW10 not quite as bad).

  • Summary: I can't judge on anything above 12 kHz - I don't hear it, but sound feels clear and "transparent". I love subwoofer - it pushes and fills without rattling.

  • Summary: I got these on sale on Boxing Day and I'm not 100% convinced they should cost that much. The current is WAY too much for this system in my opinion. They sound good but they do distort now and then if I'm listening to my rock and roll. For a small apartment sized home theatre system they will fill all your needs with the sound that they produce.

  • Summary: I have to say that my expectations where exceeded when i paired them with a Sony STRDN840 receiver and i also picked up a extra pair of Energy Take 20 speakers as well to complete my 7.1 setup since those were on sale as well over the holidays. The sound quality is exceptional with and you will have absolutely no regrets about getting this package especially if you can get them on sale like i did.

Solid but un-inspiring

  • Summary: This functions well, does what it should; makes noise. Do not expect to be shaking the world but for a good movie, tv and general sound it fills my living room.

Great sound, don not like glossy finish

Dan, FutureShop
1 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this and hooked them up and they do sound great. The sattelite speakers give off great highs and and lack a little with the mids. The do pick up sound that I do not normally hear in other speakers. The sub needs to be turned up in power and tuned to match the highs the speakers turn out. But with a little tuning this system sounds great. I did return them after a week due to the glossy finish on the speakers.

Excellent sound for the money!

  • Summary: I purchased these on sale to step up from the LG 5.1 system I had. While the LG system was pretty good,I was looking for something that would give me better sound quality and a bit more volume without getting into huge tower speakers and thousands of dollars. So far I am very pleased! They are small, look nice, and sound great!

Awesome!

  • Summary: I have a 7.1 system with these speakers. Purchased the two back speakers a month later and wow I cannot believe the sound difference between 5.1 and 7.1! You miss so much not having 7.1. The sound itself is great, maybe needs more power in the sub but other than that it is wicked and worth the money. I purchased in a receiver bundle. Never been happy with a surround sound package until I got this one!
