Low price, High quality speakers! Do not hesitate !

Summary: I installed those speakers as my rears for my surround system. They work perfectly and are powerful enough. I wanted to buy Polk but I needed to stay within a budget, therefore after many hours of research I took a chance on the Energy EAS-6C and I am a happy camper! They are paired with my Polk TSi300 as fronts and monoprice center, on a Yamaha HTR-6040 receiver. Pros: -Sound great !

Summary: I do love these speakers. Easy to install. Comes with traceable outline for hole size. They are time consuming to install if you conceal all the wires. I made a speaker box in my attic to keep insulation from getting to them. It took 4-5 hours total to get set up, well worth it. At first the wife was not thrilled to see me cutting two large holes in a perfectly good ceiling, nor did she like the hole behind the entertainment center for the concealed speaker wire..
Summary: I bought these for back ground listening in my distributed audio system. For $99 i had to give them a shot. I own the Take Classic 5.1 currently and love them so i owed it to Energy to give them a shot. WOW! this is the same aluminum tweeter in the take classic sats and has a rubber surround! They even have rotatable tweeters and aluminum grilles to use outside. I am using in a covered porch outside as well as 4 different rooms.
Summary: Sound great. I enclosed them in 5 gallon bucket with egg crate foam to hopefully cut down on sound traveling through the attic. Don't know if it actually improves the sound or not but I didn't feel like multiple trips into the attic to test.
Summary: One of the speakers is already fuzzy and blown after 35 days, 5 days after return period. Did not even come close 50% volume. The other three ( bought two packs) are working great. Installation is simple.
Good performers for a small room or complement for a 7.1 system (Back sorround)

Summary: These are from the Klipsch family and have the same quality standards. I do recommend them for a small bedroom or narrow hall but I would go for the 8 inch on a larger room or a main source of output. They do perform very good clear and clean sound. Bass is there but it will not be the flagship, which wasn't expected from a 6.5. Latest cost has dropped dramatically and it is a good opportunity to get a quality product under MSRP cost.
