Summary: unfortunately these appear to be discontinued most everywhere besides best buy. absolutely one of the most musically accurate center channels at $300. i can only hope klipsch uses the energy brand to provide higher than entry level speakers for those of us who don't want to deal with the drawbacks of a compression horn, or at least lower cost ones. i have this center paired with the CF50 towers in a 3ch setup on a marantz sr5006.
Summary: I have already floor standing Energy speakers that sounds real nice. But this center speaker did not work. I had to send it back. And what is worse, yet i cannot blame Energy but only Amazon, is that the refund is much less than i paid for the product. I also had to pay a lot to send it back, which adds even more to my total loss of money doing this trade. I have paid a total of 520 USD for purcase and shipping to norway, and for shipping it back.
Summary: I am an avid audio listener. I love music and movies. I upgraded my Mirage Nanoset Prestige 5.1 surround to the Energy series. I am now using 2 CF-70 towers, the CC-10 center and waiting on getting the CR-10's for surround ( I am still using 2 mirage nanoset rears) I am extremely impressed with this center channel. The depth and tones of sound is amazing from this speaker. It is a major upgrade from using small satallite speakers.
Summary: I got the front, center, and rear speakers in a set. These give decent sound quality for movie playing in a room that is about 14' by 16'. I don't feel a need for a subwoofer, because these speakers are already mid-range sized. I listened to these and speaker sets which cost over $4000. The $4000 sets sound better, but didn't really improve my enjoyment of the movies.
Summary: I have two Energy CB-10's and an energy sub, along with two def tech surround speakers. I needed to complete my 5.1 system and knew how important the center speaker is. I blindly purchased the def tech center channel based on great reviews on all major websites. I was highly disappointed in it...i paid the extra money for this energy and WOW.....the difference is incredible. The dialogue blasts through without having to turn the volume up real loud.
Summary: We purchased two pairs of CB-10 speakers for our 5.1 system. The CC-10 center channel, of course, fits in perfectly. With the deal we got on the speakers we were offered the CC-5 but upgraded to the CC-10. The reason is, while the CC-5 would have fit nicely in as a center channel, the CC-10's larger speakers have better lows to mids -- just sound "thicker" if you ask us.
