Summary: These speakers are a great value and sound pretty good. The outside mounting dimension is a little larger than your standard 6.5 in speakers. I had to make some modification to my radar arch to make them fit. The magnet is very large so ensure that you have plenty of clearance behind the speakers. They would not fit in my lower cabin area as they were too deep. Overall I would purchase these over and over again because of the sound quality and price.
Summary: Pretty heavy duty. Sounds good. If you're a bass lover, could use a sub woofer with these, but for general purpose good sound, these are fine. Make sure you have clearence behind when mounting. These are deeper than many speakers and have a large magnet.
Summary: Great small stereo. The speakers that came with it were not as good on base as I had hoped so I upgraded with "Dual DMS652 6 1/2" 2-Way, Poly, Marinized, 175 W" ($47.18). The quality of the sound is very good and I am quite satisfied.
Summary: These speakers sound good and are inexpensive. Since speakers last a year on my boat regardless of how much I pay for them, I just buy these and replace them every year. It has been a year and I have ordered new speakers since these are no good anymore.
Summary: Although I just installed these speakers in my boat and have been on the lake once since I REALLY am liking them. All ranges seem to be clear and responsive. I can actually hear a thump in the bass which I am sure is not helping my fishing at all but nevertheless they do have some bass.
