Summary: First off, I must say that I am a big fan of Definitive Technology speakers since I first heard them in about 1999. I've always enjoyed music and always tried to have as good a sound system as my budget allowed. Wanting to upgrade my system I stopped at a local hi-fi dealer and auditioned many speakers. The brand that I kept coming back to was Definitive Tech.
Summary: When researching in-wall speakers and reading people reviews you kind of end up scratching your head. Some people go on and on when it's not necessary. I won't do that here. For less then $200 a pair you're only going to get a limited quaility of sound regardless of what anyone tells you. These speakers are very well constructed, nice crossover assembly and couldn't get any easier to install. They sound very good without any audible distortion at moderate levels.
Excerpt: These speakers are the goods. I set the up as fronts for my surround system with Definitive Technology In-Ceiling Speakers - UIW63A as rears. Also have a Definitive Technology center channel. Installation was incredibly simple and they sound simply awesome. I would recommend these speakers to anyone.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact, Easy To Connect, Great Sound Quality, Powerful
