Summary: Highly recommended for small rooms and/or modest listening volumes. Could not be happier with my purchase.
Pros: Clean, clear and transparent. Excellent dispersion, (I have them in the corners of a 12'x15' room about 6 inces from the walls and angled inwards). Outstanding low frequency response for such a small enclosure not just artificail warmth created by boosting the mid-bass but actual audible response...
Cons: Does not perform miracles - you will need a subwoofer if you want to listen to rock or movies at high volume and expect to feel the punch. Not as efficient as one might expect for a small speaker.
Summary: I've owned Def Tech speakers since 2000 and they are by far one of the best speakers on the market today. They are equal to Totem, Revel, B&W, Legacy, etc. I used to be a big fan of the "Mirage FRX" series of speakers. Which back then were a phenomenal full bodied speaker.
Summary: So I recently decided that I would upgrade my home theater system and replace all of my equipment with more high end equipment. The system I had included a Yamaha RX-V667 7.2 channel receiver and a set of the Bose Acoustimass 10 speakers.
Amazing speaker that delivers on both sound and looks

Summary: I am a fan of Definitive Technology speakers having owned them in the past. Recently I was looking to replace some large floor standing speakers with something that both sounded better and would look better in my living room.
Summary: I have the ProMonitor 800's as well and were using those for my fronts in my 5.1 surround. I also have a DT ProCenter 1000 and DT 600's for rears. I decided to upgrade fronts to these and move the 800's to rear surround after two years now.
