Summary: For the small footprint, past outstanding speakers, easy fills up my 15 by 20 family room that extends into a 14 by 25 kitchen. I give these speakers a 4 1/5 and not a 5, based on the bass starts to truncate a little , volume on plus 3db on a Yamaha RX479B (150 per channel) .
Summary: I have these plus the ProCenter 2000 and ProMonitor 800s for surrounds. I don't even have, need, or want a sub with these (well, maybe someday). Even the little 800s put out an amazing amount of bass. They sounds great for movies and music.
Summary: I've had these speakers for about 3 years as part of my entertainment system. They are used as the front left and right speakers in a 5.1 setup. I have them powered by a Denon 3312 receiver and can crank the music up and not get any distortion (some complaints from the wife though).
Summary: Got two of these as my main left and right for my small home theater system. Really good for music and movies alike. Really nice dynamic range and frequency response. Paired it with Procenter 2000 since I read somewhere that the Procenter 1000 is under powered when paired with Promonitor 1000.
