Summary: Having decided to upgrade the Home Theater System I did a lot of product research. Compared Definitive Technology products against several of their competitors and selected this center channel and their Bipolar floor standing speakers. Very happy with the sound and quality for the price.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Since the center speaker is the most important in the system, I chose the most speaker I could get for the money. The 2000 series is as close to perfect as I could hoped for. It's frequency range is amazing. I still haven't chosen up my subwoofers, but the 2000's lows, driven by a 90 watt Yamaha receiver, are quite impressive, that I'll be able to take my time purchasing subs. Everything about this small wonder is impressive. I very highly recommend it.
Excellent center speaker produces big improvement in sound system

Summary: I bought this speaker to complete an upgrade of my home theater sound system. I selected Definitive Technology fronts with subwoofers and DT rears based upon in-store listeneing comparisons. At first I kept my old center channel speaker, but then decided to try a new one. The DT Pro 2000 center speaker made a very surprising and noticeable improvement with its wide range, accuracy, and efficiency. The DT speakers are complementary, designed to work together.
Summary: I bought the CLR2000 as the center in my surround system which includes the Def Tech 7001C towers. The center is superb in every way. It has its own small sub included, which helps the center to balance well with the towers. If you're going to get one, get this one -- no point in skimping on the center, where the vast majority of sounds comes from in many shows.
Summary: I love these speakers. The voices are so clear. I used to have my reciever at 50 to hear, but now I can keep it at 30. No more compensating by making it louder. I have yet to crank the stero, but I am sure it will do great.
