Summary: Not responsive and rude. I would not purchase either the speaker set or from this retailer again. Went to Best Buy and purchased a Energy 5..1. Better advice, had the product there and matched price. Still a Amazon shopper just not a fan of this retailer.
Summary: I bought these over the Energy 5.1 speakers. I chose them because the only review that had a person try them out, he said the D's are better. These are also cheaper. These arrived to my home in perfect condition, it was packed well.
Summary: Def Tech cinema 60...The sub came with a broken grill, but that is minor. After spending a couple hours hooking up the system, the sub did not work. The seller, Vann's would not take the sub without the rest of the package...a big headache. So I packed it up and sent it back.
Summary: The first Pro Cinema 60.6 system sent had a sub-woofer that hummed really loud. The tech at Definitive Technology said something was wrong with the sub's amp. Amazon was great they sent a call tag for the system.
Summary: Great speakers for good price. Very happy with surround sound speakers. They sound like I paid at least twice the price I did. Used curtain brackets to mount rear speakers and seem to be holding up well. These have broken in and gotten better with age!
Summary: This is a $600 value speaker set for less than half the price. I was about to buy the Energy Take 5.1 which I have and which is an amazing set of speakers but at 150 dollars less the Def Techs were a no-brainer.
Summary: I have had these speakers for about a year now. They sound great. The price was excellent and I highly recommend them. With that said, I thought I would provide some advice (and the reason why I gave them 4 stars - I would actually give them 4.5 if I could): the sub woofer is less than great.
