Summary: Ive had these for years, they are amazing. They go so low(25hz no problem) that i sometimes feel ive wasted my money on a pair of sealed svs subwoofers. They just sound great for 2 channel audio, whether connected to a powerhouse mac amp or to one of my low watt vintage japanese receivers.
Pros: THESE ARE A STEAL AT 200$ each. i wanted good speakers and listened to these and others. i really liked a 1600$ pair of B&W bookshelfs but couldnt stomach that for speakers. super super clean sound!!
Cons: terminals are on the bottom of the speaker, wish i got two more for surround
Summary: I have them palced 1 foot from the wall, 2.0 set up, no subwoofer Sources is Pandora streamed via a Heos by Dennon link, preamplifier via a DAC Emotiva XDA-1---> Amplifier: Emotiva UPA-2:120 wpc at 8 Ohms. 14# 14# 9 foot ceiling room. Those babies can sing and go loud w/o distortion.
Pros: Excellent sound, great 2.0 setup. Perfect choice for Stereo set up.. Clean sound, no distortion. Price.
Cons: Not too sensitive, requires clean strong power to make them shine.
Summary: These thins sound great but there is something about them I do not care for when it comes to rock music. there not exactly bright but they seem to lack in the low mid range and could use some warmth so I guess the over all sound comes off as bright but not a harsh type of bright, they have great...
Summary: Love these speakers! I purchased a set of the BP8 to go with a 5pc set of Def tech tower and surround speakers I already own. I had spoke with the manufacter about them , and they said it would be a great match.
Summary: I can't wait until I get the BP Super Towers with the powered subs. The combination of the two sets of speakers are going to just blow me away. I will have to pry myself out from in front of the action movies and video games.
Pros: These things sound exceptional. The speaker configuration literally fills my living room with sound and I find myself quite often looking for where a sound came from in the house only to realize it was in the movie and the speakers directed it giving a positional effect. Another major benefit is ...
Cons: The top cap on one of the speakers has a slight bow in it which can be a minor visual annoyance, but then again, I didn't buy these speakers to look at them.
