Summary: Was a bit dubious spending £200 on these and when I first hooked them up I thought they'd be going back because they seemed very shrill and lacking Bass compared to the Monitor MR1's I had been using. I stuck with them though and gradually over about 15 hours they started to loosen up.
Summary: I bought these planning to put them in a tight loft space, but they've ended up elsewhere, backed by a subwoofer. With help from the sub, they sound fantastic. I'm not a massive fan of booming bass (I mostly listen to rock and, er, roll), but I think they need some help at lower volumes.
Summary: I really like these speakers as they aren't too bass heavy as most modern speakers seem to be these days. Don't get me wrong I love a deep baseline as much as the next person but I want to have clarity in the rest of the sounds as well
Fantastic sound from such a small speaker, why pay more?

Summary: Over the years I have owned lots of different speakers, my favourites being Celestion F2, with the Mission 773e being a close second ( I preferred the look of the 773e), but these little speakers sound top notch, I now live I a flat so space Is at a premium so I cant have large speakers anymore.
Pros: top quality sound , compact size , build quality
Summary: Matched these speakers with Marantz amp & cd units purchased at the same time and they go very nicely together. The build quality is very good.Cab has a very solid feel and the speakers are reassuringly weighty. Walnut finish is very pleasing to the eye too.
Summary: I bought these speakers to use primarily as monitors for a small home recording studio. They provide a very good top end but they lacking a bit at the bass end. I use them now in conjunction with a pair of amplified KRK speakers, which help considerably with the bottom end output.
