Amazing sound from a small stylish package
17 January 2013
Summary: When i opened this up I was concerned that it was so tiny. It measures only 6.5 inches high by 2.5 inches wide. However, the sound that comers out of it is amazing. it is good enough to fill an entire small room with decent quality sound. Of course you're not going to be rattling the walls with this speaker and it does sound really strained if you crank it up to full volume. But for an office setting it is great.
Summary: This speaker has excellent sound qualities and has a slim design. I have the AMP SP1 a.m.p SP1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Black) portable speaker which doesn't have quite as good sound quality as the SBX8, but the AMP SP1 has bluetooth. They are both about the same price, but will cost you $50 more to get the bluetooth version of this speaker (the SBX10 Creative Sound BlasterAxx SBX10 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Microphone ).
slick all-in-one speaker and mic, perfect for office setup

Summary: I got this speaker to use with my work laptop at home. the features of noise cancellation, illuminated touch controls and its small form factor work great for all my needs. I use it mainly taking calls over my voip phone app, and being able to adjust the volume, toggle noise cancelation, or mute the mic at will is the best.
Summary: First of all I do not use my computer to listen to music. So a speaker for me is about using Skype and listening to websites news etc. For this purpose this compact and tidy little USB speaker fits the bill. My desk area is not large and it sits very comfortably under my monitor with a cable that is long enough to plug in comfortably to the back of my PC.
Summary: I use this on my laptop when I am working at home. It is great for listening to music. It is easy to mute when the phone rings! It doesn't need a power cable just its usb. It has a very impressive sound. I love it for conference calls: excellent sound quality both ways, easy to mute the mic so no one can hear my keyboard tapping away. Didn't work for a skype music lesson though too much feedback at the other end.
Summary: This small device combines speakers, microphone and a USB sound card. Creative Sound Blaster products have always had a good reputation and have continued it with this device. I have used it for a VOIP teleconference very well, although the sound was a little clipped when using it on Skype -this may however be a Skype issue. The sound quality is very good, although volume is limited by the amount of power available from a USB2 port.
